Horseback Riding Camp 2024!

Embrace your horse love at Duncraven Equestrian Center. Participants will learn safety on and around horses and ponies, grooming techniques, riding skills, and other primary horsemanship skills. Sessions aim to help develop confidence and motor-coordination skills while providing a supportive, fun,  environment for the participants as well as social interaction between them.  This year we are offering three weeks of camp! Our first week is best suited for those who have never ridden or have just started lessons. We require all riders who are signed up for Novice are either currently in the Duncraven Program or are evaluated ahead of time to insure appropriate match.

 

The  perfect preparation for lessons for eager, young, aspiring equestrians. Limited availability, register today!

Beginner Week :  July 22-26

Beginner / Novice Week: July 28-Aug 2

8:00-8:30 Morning Meeting

8:30-11:30 Grooming/ Tacking

9:00-10:30 Mounted Lesson

10:30-11:30 Untacking, Grooming

12:00-12:45 Lunch

2:45 - 1:30 Barn Chores, Equine Health

1:30 - 3:00 Crafts / Planned Activities
